At SAARANG, our sarees are luxury ethnic creations crafted with the highest standards of fabric quality, intricate zari work, and exquisite detailing. To ensure uncompromising hygiene, fabric purity, and pristine condition for every client, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, cancellations once dispatched, or monetary refunds.
1. All Sales Are Final
Once an order is confirmed and dispatched from our Surat fulfillment center, it cannot be returned or refunded. Please ensure you review saree specifications, fabric type, colors, and border work carefully before placing your order.
2. Transit Damage & Manufacturing Defect Protocol
Every SAARANG saree undergoes a meticulous 3-point quality inspection prior to packaging. In the unlikely event that your parcel arrived damaged or torn:
- Refusal at Delivery: You must inspect the outer packaging upon courier arrival. If visibly torn or tampered with, refuse acceptance immediately.
- Unboxing Video Mandate: In case of an inner transit defect, an uninterrupted, uncut parcel unboxing video starting from the sealed outer courier bag must be emailed to orders@saarang.co.in or sent via WhatsApp to +91 9257590511 within 24 hours of delivery.
- Exchange Only: Upon physical verification of genuine transit damage, we will arrange a replacement of the identical saree. No cash or bank refunds will be issued.
3. Comprehensive Saree Fabric Washing & Care Rules
To preserve the rich luster, vibrant hues, and intricate zari embellishments of your sarees, please strictly follow the washing instructions specific to each fabric:
Pure Silk, Banarasi, Kanjivaram & Zari Sarees
- DRY CLEAN ONLY: Never hand wash, machine wash, or soak silk sarees in water. Petrol dry cleaning is recommended for pure zari.
- Zero Chemicals: Never spray perfumes, body sprays, or water mists directly onto zari borders; chemicals tarnish the metallic gold/silver thread.
- Storage: Wrap your silk saree in a pure, unbleached cotton or muslin cloth bag. Never store in plastic covers, and avoid direct contact with naphthalene balls.
- Airing: Unfold and air your silk sarees in a shaded, well-ventilated room once every 3 to 4 months to prevent fold creases.
- Ironing: Always iron on the reverse side on low/silk setting with a protective cotton cloth between the iron and the saree.
Organza, Tissue & Net Sarees
- Dry Clean Strictly: Organza is a delicate, crisp weave that loses its signature volume and texture if exposed to water.
- Storage: Store flat in padded saree covers. Never hang on metal or wire hangers, as sharp bends damage the crisp structure.
- Zero Direct Steam: Do not steam press directly on organza; iron only on lowest heat through a muslin barrier.
Chiffon, Georgette & Crepe Sarees
- Careful Hand Wash or Dry Clean: Professional dry cleaning is recommended. If hand washing at home, use cold water with mild liquid detergent (Ezee/Genteel).
- No Soaking: Never soak chiffon or georgette for more than 2 to 3 minutes.
- Never Wring: Gently press out excess water between dry cotton towels. Dry flat in shade. Never tumble dry.
Cotton, Linen & Chanderi Sarees
- First Wash: For the first wash, soak briefly in cold salted water to naturally lock in dyes and maintain fiber strength.
- Gentle Hand Wash: Wash separately in cold water with mild detergent. Do not brush vigorously.
- Shade Drying: Always dry inside-out in a shaded breeze. Direct sun exposure will fade rich natural dyes.
- Ironing: Iron with medium-high heat while slightly damp for a crisp, regal drape.
